Continuing Education 

Committee Members - Jill Mayhew / Sidney Hollings 

The Continuing Education Committee is responsible for the development, planning, and execution of all Chapter educational meetings. Main responsibilities include:

  • Annual planning meeting
  • Designing event calendar and developing monthly luncheon programs
  • Executing monthly luncheons consists of:
    • Working with Chapter Administrator to publicize all chapter Events via email and by posting events and their details to the Chapter website calendar.
    • Coordinating announcements and speaker introductions.
    • Working with Membership Committee to obtain the exact headcount for each event.
    • Selecting venue and menu, making reservations, coordinating with the venue the banquet hall requirements and networking area, ensuring the venue is equipped with projector, microphone, and laptop for presentation.
    • Confirming speakers prior to the event.
    • Coordinating event agenda and introductions with Chapter President.
    • Giving consideration to event sponsorships, if appropriate.

 

Scholarship 

Committee Members - Shelley Woitena

The scholarship committee is responsible for supporting our annual scholarships. Main responsibilities include:

  • Picking a date that scholarship applications will be due
  • Ensuring the application is current.
  • Working with Chapter Administrator to publicize scholarship availability.
  • Gather applications and securing a review committee.
  • Supporting in the review and awarding of scholarships.

 

Golf Tournament 

Committee Members - Tom Whitney / Deb Soto / Jaylene Candeleria

Golf Committee is responsible for organizing the Chapter’s annual golf outing.  Main responsibilities of the Golf Committee include:

  • Setting the date for the Annual Golf Tournament
  • Determine target participation, sources sponsorships for raffle prizes, beverage cart, dining, hole sponsors and special prizes.
  • Registering golfers, maintaining headcount, and pairing up golfers with teams.
  • Working with Chapter Administrator to publicize the golf outing via email and Chapter website.
  • Securing volunteers for golfer registration and other activities on the day of the event.

 

Membership 

Committee Members - Kevin Smith

Membership Committee is responsible for the Chapter’s membership recruitment and retention efforts. Main responsibilities of the Membership Committee include:

  • Identifying and Recruiting Prospective Members
  • Promoting CFMA at events and Answering Inquiries Regarding Membership
  • Integrate New Members Into The Organization
  • Hold Membership Drives
  • Member Retention

 

Social/Charity 

Committee Members - Bradley Frantz

The Social/Charity Committee is responsible for organizing all social events and charitable contributions by the chapter. Responsibilities include:

  • Planning regular social events,
    • Working with Chapter Administrator to publicize Events via email and by posting events and their details to the Chapter website calendar.
    • Working with Membership Committee to obtain the exact headcount for each event.
    • Selecting venue and menu, making reservations, and organizing activities as applicable
    • Giving consideration to event sponsorships, if appropriate.
  • Coordinating charitable events of donations
    • Helping to publicize charity donation dates, times, and process
    • Coordinating with charity for details of drop-off or support.

 

Sponsorship Committee

Committee Members -  Kevin Smith / James Deaven

Sponsorship Committee is responsible for developing and selling the bundled sponsorship packages.  The committee meets as needed. 

 

The sponsorship bundles provide sponsor recognition at all events, in all email blasts, and on the chapter website.  The sponsorship committee is responsible for setting sponsor targets, sourcing sponsors, and selling sponsorship bundles to subsidize the Chapter events.  This committee works closely with Chapter Administrator to ensure all sponsor logos are added timely to email blasts, website, and social media, and that all sponsors are accurately categorized.  The committee also ensures sponsor recognition at all events.  The committee maintains the past and current list of sponsors. 

 

CCIFP 

Committee Members - Vivian Garza-Steele/Jeremy Crow

The CCIFP Chapter Champion is responsible for increasing the number of CCIFPs in our chapter by talking about certification at chapter meetings. Supporting members who on in the process of being certified. Sharing information about being a CCIFP and supporting any study groups that we host.
