Zachry Construction & Materials, Inc. 

WARREN A. STOKES, CPA is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Zachry Corporation. He is responsible for managing the accounting, tax, and finance and treasury functions for the company, as well as managing banking relationships, joint venture risk profiles and equipment contracts.

Prior to his recent promotion to Chief Financial Officer, Warren held the position of Vice President and Treasurer for Zachry. He previously worked for Ernst & Young, LLP in San Antonio, where he served a number of clients in a variety of industries before joining Zachry in 2006.

Warren graduated cum laude with his Master of Science in Accounting from Texas Tech University.

Warren serves as the project finance chair heading the capital/building campaign for the St. George Episcopal Church and School. He also serves as the Treasurer of the School Board.

Chris ThielChris Thiel, CMA

Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Alterman Management Group Inc.

Mr. Thiel is a Certified Management Accountant with over 23 years of financial and administrative management experience. He is responsible for the development of business policies, benefit review and management, and administrative management and provides overall direction for financial operations, risk management, contract administration, purchasing and human resources. He also serves on Alterman’s Board of Directors and is the Secretary and Treasurer. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa.

Mr. Thiel has financial management experience in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, real estate and oil & gas. During his career, he has held senior leadership roles including CFO, VP of Operations, Controller and Financial Manager. Mr. Thiel currently serves on the Board for the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce where he is a member of the Government Affairs Council, the Chairman’s Council and the Finance Council. In addition, he is a member of the Employee Owned S-Corporations of America (ESCA) Board of Directors and serves as the Chair of the ESCA Programs Committee. Mr. Thiel is currently participating as a Mentor in the Associated General Contractors of America, San Antonio Chapter, Mentor/Protégé program assisting growing specialty contractors in their business endeavors.


Paul Hensley

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer


Paul Hensley is responsible for leading all financial operations for HOLT CAT and its affiliates, including the accounting, treasury, tax, internal controls and planning, budgeting and forecasting functions.

Paul joined HOLT CAT in 2000 and is part of the senior leadership team that has overseen dramatic sales growth and geographic expansion over the last two decades.

Prior to joining HOLT CAT, Paul served in accounting and finance positions in a variety of industries, including distribution, manufacturing, restaurants, pharmaceuticals and waste services.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trinity University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.

Paul is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs; is a national director of Financial Executives International (FEI); and is also a member of the Construction Finance Managers Association (CFMA).

He is an executive board member of several charitable organizations including Junior Achievement of South Texas, Boys and Girls Clubs of San Antonio, and the St Mary’s University Greehey School of Business Advisory Council of Executives.
